Vedāntasāra, composed by Sadānanda Yogendra Sarasvatī is a short text which summarises the principal concepts of Advaita Vedānta. It is a prakaraṇa-grantha which provides a scholarly introduction to Advaita Vedānta. A beginner can get a clear and detailed introduction to Vedānta through the text. An intermediate student of Vedānta can also benefit in terms of gaining a greater clarity in his insight into the Vedānta śāstra.
In these audio lectures, Poojya Swami Shivaprakashananda Saraswati explains the text line by line, with great detail for the benefit of serious students of Vedānta.
We thank the devotees of Vibhu Foundation, a spiritual organization founded by Swami Shivaprakashananda Saraswati in 2017, for providing these audio files and allowing us to share them through our pāṭhaśālā.
Note:This course consists of audio lectures recorded live during the classes. Hence, the quality of audio may not be very good in some portions, especially in the initial classes. We have made the best attempts to edit and improve the audio, and we will replace these with better recordings if and when they are available.
