Sri Venkatachala Mahatmyam is a part of the Divyadesha Vaibhavam – Part -1 of Sri Krishnapremi Swamigal. The Divyadesha Vaibhavam is a grantha in the purana style, describing the mahatmya of the 108 Divyadeshas. The Venkatachala Mahatmyam is narrated in 10 adhyayas in the upajati vrtta. It ends with Padmavati Parinaya.
The classes will be conducted online through a tool called GoToWebinar. Students can join the classes through their computers or smart-phones.
2. Are the classes live?
Yes. Live Online sessions are conducted Fridays, Evening 8.00 PM to 9.00 PM IST (weekly one class), starting 4th September 2020.
3. How are the sessions structured?
The course will involve live sessions of one hour each – each session will have a lecture presentation, followed by Q and A.
4. What if I am unable to attend the live classes because of time-difference? I came to know of this course late, and a few classes have already happened? What do I do?
Recordings of the sessions will be made available on YouTube. They can also be accessed from the course page afterwards. Please note that the recordings will be made available and posted based on the availability of volunteers for processing and uploading.
