Kavijeevitani is the compilation of life stories of ten poets by K C Jayachandra Shastri Shiromani. This book is published by Chittoor sabha. The lives of Vyasa, Valmiki, Jagannatha, Bhavabhuti, Bharavi, Magha, Bana, Bhasa, Harshavardhana and Kalidasa are covered in this small book of nearly around 30 pages. The time, place, works and sometimes very famous anecdotes, along with their poetic specialties are explored in this book randomly. This text is prescribed for the first paper in the Samartha exam (4th level) of Chittoor sabha series.
What is the Syllabus?
This course covers the lives and works of 10 poets as per the lessons in the book and apart from that, more material is provided in depth. These classes will be useful for many levels of undergraduate and graduate exams where kavi-parichaya is a part of the syllabus.
